The working language of the expert seminar will be English.
GUIDELINES FOR THE DEBATES
The intention is to develop a free-flowing discussion based on the keynote speeches, introductory remarks, background information and written contributions circulated in advance or during the meeting. To this end, we urge the participants to abstain from formal interventions in the form of prepared statements to the extent possible.
Prepared statements, background information, comments or other written materials may be submitted in advance or during the meeting to IOM (aplatonova@iom.int or to the accreditation desk).
ACCREDITATION
We kindly ask the registered participants to contact the seminar’s accreditation desk at the Management Centre Europe in order to obtain the badges. The accreditation desk will be open as of 9:00 on 16 June 2010.
CATERING
Lunch and refreshments will be offered to all participants on the day of the seminar.
TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT
The meeting room will be equipped with technical facilities for power point presentations.

Public transportation to the seminar venue:
From SCHUMAN: bus Nr. 60 to stop Washington
From LUXEMBOURG/TRONE: bus Nr. 54 to stop Trinité
From METRO LOUISE: tram Nr. 94 to stop Bailli
The seminar venue is within a walking distance from both hotels suggested by the organizers: Manos Stephanie Hotel (15 min) and Mercure Brussels Center Louise (13 min).

Transportation to/from Brussels airport:
A taxi ride from/to the airport to either of the hotels would cost up to 50 EUR depending on the time of the day.
Alternatively, it is possible to take a train (5,10 EUR) to Gare du Midi station or a bus (5 EUR) to Place Luxembourg. There are taxi stalls at both destinations and the subsequent taxi ride to either of the hotels would cost 10-15 EUR.
